Job Title: Credentialing Assistant Reports To: Director of Quality Assurance Summary/Objective: The Credentialing Assistant will work with our Quality Assurance Department as well as our Traveling Healthcare Professionals and Staffing Managers to acquire and maintain all pre-employmentand onboarding documentation. This person will also work with and assist our Administrative Assistants as needed. The ideal Credentialing Assistant will be a self-motivated team player comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Essential Functions: Support team in obtaining and validating documents for personnel files Order Pre-employment services such as drug screens, health services, backgrounds, certification courses, etc. Complete verifications of education, licensure, employment Maintain credentialing documents in internal database, including updating expiring traveler items. Establishes strong relationships and displays excellent customer service skills Assists team members as necessary Ability to work independently and problem solve. Secondary Functions: Complete various administrative tasks for Executive staff and Operations Work closely with Recruiting and Operations staff Perform administrative functions when necessary Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is regularly required to sit and stand; occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Other Requirements: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, time management skills Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel) Team player mentality willingness to help when needed Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and comply with policies and procedures as outlined
